About Our Firm

Who We Are:

Oklahoma Employee Benefits & Insurance, LLC is an independent, privately owned company serving clients in the state of Oklahoma.  Our primary services are consultative in nature.  Our selection of insurance carriers and financial service firms are based on our own research and evaluation. Our client recommendations are based on your specific needs and our analysis and not directed by any insurance company, bank, or other insurance agency arrangement.

Our Mission:

Our mission is simply to help individuals make informed insurance and financial decisions, while assisting with the selection, implementation and ongoing management of their decisions.

Our History:

We started out as a sole proprietorship working with individuals and small business as a captive agent for one of the largest mutual life insurance companies in America. We soon learned that there were many options and services not available to our clients and in 1999 started our independent practice.  From that point on we continued to grow offering small business owners and individuals a full range of products and services centered around insurance, employee benefits, and long range planning.

About Our Compensation:

As an independent insurance agency Oklahoma Employee Benefits & Insurance, LLC does business with multiple insurance companies, so we can offer you a variety of coverage choices and customize a plan to meet your specific needs We are not obligated to any one insurance company, third party administrator (TPA) or other financial services company.   We are able to assist our clients in identifying and securing the combination of coverage, price, and service that meets your particular needs.

Oklahoma Employee Benefits & Insurance, LLC is compensated in a variety of ways, including commissions and fees paid by the insurance companies, brokerage operations or third party administrators we place business with and fees paid directly by clients.

Commissions: our firm is paid a commission by the insurance carrier we place or renew a policy with.  Commissions are generally calculated based on a percentage of the premium charged and collected by the carriers, on a per insured basis or some other negotiated fee.  The amount of commission may vary depending on the type of insurance product purchased and the insurance company selected by the client.  The commission is included in the premium you pay directly to the insurance carrier.

Fees: In some cases our firm may charge a fee for our services in lieu of or in addition to the commissions paid by the insurer.  If a fee-based arrangement is made with our clients, it will be set forth in a written service/consulting agreement, describing the services to be performed, the time frame and amount of fees.

Contingent Commissions: Some of the insurers that we represent may pay a contingent commission, which is not tied to a specific policy.  Unlike a regular commission described above these contingent commissions may be based on a number of factors related to the amount of business placed with the insurer, retention of the policies and other factors determined by the insurer.  These contingent commissions are not directly added to the premium you pay.

Although our firm may receive contingent commissions described above we do not accept, gifts, free trips and other inducements used by insurance carriers to place business with them.

Our firm has the ability to offer policies from a variety of competing insurers for your consideration.  However, we cannot investigate every available insurance product on the market.   We will answer any questions you have regarding the different quotes, insurers, or policies that we do obtain, but please be aware that you make the final decision on which insurer we will submit your application to, as well as the type and amount of coverage, deductibles, and other material terms related to your insurance needs.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to work with you.  We understand the vital role that insurance plays in providing you with financial security and peace of mind.  Again, don’t hesitate to contact us at any time with questions, concerns or issues that may come up with your policies.

Our agency is grateful to have you as a client, and we welcome any suggestions you have to assist us in serving you better.
