Who We Are

Oklahoma Employee Benefits & Insurance, LLC is an independent, privately owned company serving clients in the state of Oklahoma.  Our primary services are consultative in nature.  Our selection of insurance carriers and financial service firms are based on our own research and evaluation. Our client recommendations are based on your specific needs and our analysis and not directed by any insurance company, bank, or other insurance agency arrangement.

Our Mission

Our mission is simply to help individuals make informed insurance and financial decisions, while assisting with the selection, implementation and ongoing management of their decisions.

Our History

We started out as a sole proprietorship working with individuals and small business as a captive agent for one of the largest mutual life insurance companies in America. We soon learned that there were many products and services not available to our clients and in 1999 moved to an independent nature.  From that point on we continued to grow offering small business owners and individuals a full range of products and services centered around insurance, employee benefits, investments and financial planning.

Our Staff

We are passionate about helping small employers and individuals coordinate, consolidate and simplify their employee benefit plans and insurance.

Randy S. Schreier, CPA - Lead Benefits Consultant

Before starting his company in 1997 Mr. Schreier worked as a captive agent for a large national life insurance company.  Prior to that he was the controller for a national commercial printing company in Oklahoma City, with over 350 employees and 80 million dollars in revenue.


A 1979 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Schreier is a native of Oklahoma growing up in Tulsa.  He holds a degree in business and is a licensed insurance agent as well as a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Schreier started his career in the business world working as an internal auditor and tax accountant for a large privately held newspaper, TV and radio conglomerate and was promoted to an accounting manager for the newspaper portion of the business.

He and his wife Lori live in Northwest Oklahoma City and have two sons, Jason and Adam.  Lori is a special education teacher for the Putnam City School District. Both of his sons are avid golfers, for which he is both envious and proud.

Lori Schreier, Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Schreier is a retired special education teacher from the Putnam City School District.  She now works for Oklahoma Employee Benefits and Insurance as an administrative assistant.

A 1978 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Lori is a native of Oklahoma growing up in Tulsa.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in education and has been a special education teacher for 40 years, teaching in both the Dallas Independent School District as well as the Putnam City School District. 

Lori has served as the administrative assistant for Oklahoma Employee Benefits & Insurance for the past 15 years, performing internal administrative and marketing functions.

About Our Compensation

As an independent insurance agency Oklahoma Employee Benefits & Insurance, LLC does business with multiple insurance companies, so we can offer you a variety of coverage choices and customize a plan to meet your unique  needs.  We are not obligated to any one insurance company.   We are able to assist our clients in identifying and securing the combination of coverage, price, and service that meets your specific needs. 


Oklahoma Employee Benefits & Insurance, LLC is compensated in a variety of ways, including commissions and fees; commissions paid the insurance companies, brokerage operations or third party administrators we place business with and fees paid directly by clients.   

  • Commissions
    Our firm earns commissions from the insurance carriers when we place or renew policies. These commissions are typically a percentage of the premium, a per-insured fee, or another negotiated rate. The commission amount varies based on the insurance product and company chosen by the client. It is included in your premium payment to the insurance carrier. For small groups with under 50 employees, the commission is typically a fixed, non-negotiable amount set by the carrier.
  • Fees
    On occasion, our firm may impose a service fee instead of or alongside the commissions received from the insurer. If we enter into a fee-based agreement with our clients, the details will be outlined in a written service or consulting agreement. This document will specify the services provided, the timeframe, and the fee amount.
  • Contingent Commissions
    Some of the insurers we work with may offer contingent commissions, which are not linked to a specific employer. Unlike the standard commissions mentioned earlier, these contingent commissions can be influenced by various factors, including the volume of business with the insurer, policy retention, and other criteria established by the insurer. These contingent commissions are not directly incorporated into the premium you pay. While our firm may receive these contingent commissions, it's important to note that we do not accept gifts, complimentary trips, or other incentives that insurance carriers sometimes offer to encourage agents to place business with them

Our firm has the ability to offer policies from a variety of competing insurers for your consideration.  However, we cannot investigate every available insurance product on the market.   We will answer any questions you have regarding the different quotes, insurers, or policies that we do obtain, but please be aware that you make the final decision on which insurer we will submit your application to, as well as the type and amount of coverage, deductibles, and other material terms related to your insurance needs.
